Matthew Rothwell

My responsibilities: As the Head of Brokerage at iCarLease, my main job is to lead our team while keeping a strong focus on our customers. I work on coming up with and putting into action plans that improve our relationships with partners, make our processes run smoothly, and help us meet our sales goals—all while making sure our customers are happy. Encouraging a positive and collaborative team environment is important, and I also stay aware of what's happening in our industry. By staying customer-focused and sharing helpful insights, I contribute to iCarLease's ongoing growth and success in the automotive leasing market. 

Background: I started in car sales back in the early 2000s, then switched to leasing after a few years. I've learned a lot from great people at different places along the way. Joined iCarLease in 2021, and I just love cars and the whole industry. Particularly when we get good feedback—it really makes the job worthwhile. Plus, it's just nice to be nice.

Fun Fact/Interest: My favourite car is a 911, I was a passenger in one when i was about 8yr old and from that moment I always said that’s my dream car. Forget the Lamborghini and Ferrari, it’s a 911 for me! Born in Bolton and Everton fan.
